‘Ber’ Months Are Here
It’s the first day of September and just a few days and weeks from now, it’ll be Christmas and pretty soon, we will be saying goodbye to Mr. 2010.
In a few days from now, malls will be decorated with all the Christmas lights and Christmas fanfare, the airwaves will be filled with Christmas songs, mommies like us will be very busy wrapping Christmas gifts, taking out the Christmas tree and all that belongs to this joyous season. When I opened my Facebook account this morning, a friend’s status was already greeting everyone a Merry Christmas and at school today, I was greeted too by the nannies and some mommy friends.
As for my little boy, I have never seen him so excited about Christmas. Yesterday, August 31, he was so eager to have the calendar turned to the September page! He wanted so much for me to turn it over so that he can see September and spell out S-E-P-T-E-M-B-E-R! He also wanted me to play Christmas songs on the player. He is just so excited and I can’t even sometimes contain it. Well, he’s a kid and Christmas really, in my opinion, is for the children. I still have no idea what’s in store for us in the remaining days of 2010. It’s all in God’s hands.
Whatever the rest of the days of the year may bring us, we will always be thankful to God for everything that He has done and given us! He has always been faithful to us and has never left us nor forsaken us!
Oh well, just allow me to greet all of you, MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone!!!

oh yes! the -BER months. you see, i work in the mall where the Christmas atmosphere is felt all over. you are right about Christmas being for children, and i think that’s why we, moms, are as excited as they are, because we want the season to be very memorable for them. nice post!
