Wakeboard, the water equivalent of snowboarding becomes more and more popular. A long time surfers had only a grin for the “wakies”, but since this sport has been enriched by world championships, it is recognized as a herd competitive sport. There are basically two places to do wakeboard: Either in open sea or a lake, towed by a fast boat. This allows jumps over the waves from the boat.
