Support Group

Yesterday, just out of the blue, I suddenly felt like I do not want to blog anymore. My day started fine, I did my usual morning routines, ate breakfast, bathe the baby, kissed my hubby goodbye (for work), then I exercised for about 15 minutes, and after, I ironed the clothes. By 10 in the morning, I decided to stop ironing and went on to my lappy and started writing. When I was done, it just hit me… that I don’t want to blog anymore. I had no idea why I felt that way, but it just hit me so hard.

I posted on my Facebook group’s wall that I felt like not blogging anymore. I was just amazed and overwhelmed at the reaction of the mommies who responded to my sentiment. Even though we have only known each other online, their support and encouragement gave me the reason to just hang on and to relax, chill out and take a BIG deep breath.

I was tired, I admit, I was sleepy and I felt like the non-ending chores here in the house, plus the baby to take care, and the school boy to tend to, and my wifey duties, took a toll on me. Yesterday, I wanted to give up, but thanks to my online group. I call them my friends, and I consider them my friends. The group may be online in existence but it has helped me a lot, in terms of blogging and who would have know, that even in my lowest moments, they are there to help, inspire and encourage me.

I feel blessed, really. I am thankful that I have known God, and that God has made me a part of his family. Despite my unfaithfulness to Him, He is still very faithful to me. I know that I don’t deserve His love, but God has kept His promise to me and my family, His promise that He will never leave me nor forsake me. I am thankful because if I do not have God in my life, I would have done something I might regret. My fear in Him gave me the wisdom to do what is right and to just trust Him, no matter what.

I thank God for friends, online and offline. I am truly blessed… so, I will still blog. :-)

There are certain days na talagang ganyan sis, I think you need to take a break, maybe a week or two.It happen to me before and that’s what I need. When you feel like blogging becomes an “obligation”, then that’s the time you need a time out and spend more time with your self and family.

Oh, Pinx, don’t you dare entertain those thoughts again! It’s simply unthinkable! Blogosphere will never be the same without you! It’s good to know you’re staying :)

I guess it does happen to us, sometimes we just want to throw our hands up in the air and give everything up. We feel too overwhelmed with all the duties we have to juggle in the air. And then, God speaks to us through the people who care for us the most. :)

thank you Pepper! i hope to keep the blogging mojo on and should i need to take a break, i will come back… hehehe… :-)

Glad you’re staying in the blogosphere sis. Honestly I’m in the same boat as you were in before. I’m currently in the “break mode” right now, but I guess I’ll just post something in my blog just to make it look updated, while checking on other’s posts every now and then.

We all have this moment and one thing to remember is to make blogging a fun thing to do and not a task. :)

I get the writer’s block/ blogger’s drought every now and then. Sometimes for really long periods… my archive lists in the past proves it!

I realize my best moments are when I write from the heart and for my pleasure, and not because I am being pressured, or I aim for PR, and attention. Back in the day, I was a happy camper just writing from the heart… and I had no care at all about PR and ranking and all the techblog stuff. After all, your real intention in the first place was to keep memories alive and just air your thoughts, right? Go back to that feeling. :)

It’ll be alright, you’ll get your groove back soon. Take your time. :)
