Baby Job’s Christening

Two days from, that is on Saturday, Baby Job will be welcomed to the Christian world. We have waited for at least two months since our funds have been quite depleted from the recent delivery and the hospital just got into its operation again. The past weeks have been quite busy for us here in preparation for the big day. Both my hubby and I worked on different tasks. Hubby assigned to me the cake since I am more meticulous than him. The invitation and the giveaways were also given for me to work on. Hubby did his part too, he ordered for the “lechon” (roasted pig), paid the church fees, the venue for the reception, ordered for the balloons and the chocolate fountain. Tonight, I will be putting in the finishing touches to the giveaways. So it’s really quite busy around here.

Yesterday, we had Baby Job’s vaccination again and then went to the grocery to buy his needs. Unfortunately, the lines at the counters were long. There were only a number of cashiers assigned yesterday, and two of those had their Epson TM-T88V receipt printers repaired. It was a long wait, but good thing Baby Job was not fussy and all after his vaccination.

Come Saturday, the house will be filled with new things, baby stuff and others. I am excited to see some of my friends too who gladly accepted our invitation to become godparents.

And… Happy 2 months Baby Job! :-)
