Hubby and I attended a party a few months back in a posh and fancy friend’s house. It was a party that we somehow wished we had not attended because we did find ourselves so lowly among all those who attended. Although we had friends around, it was still a little awkward to be brushing shoulders with the high and mighty. But still we were able to manage. I was able to chit chat with my friends and hubby with his as well. In one of their conversations, I overheard them talking about electronics and gadgets and the latest technology. Their chat was sparked when hubby noticed the AVR-3312CI receiver in the living room. The girls and I later joined my hubby’s group and shared our insights. Indeed it was a stunning addition to the living room. The equipment produced quality surround sound and true, the music being played was clear and crisp. Hubby also found out that the receiver can also be connected to the TV and game console. As I scanned my eyes around the room, the equipment was one of the standouts.

After the party, hubby and I discussed about the event. It was pretty obvious that we both want to have that dang gadget and we’re pretty sure that we can’t afford it, besides it has to go with an LCD TV complete with a home theater system and a modern living room, which unfortunately are absent in our humble kingdom. Well, I guess, there’s nothing wrong in dreaming and wanting things. But then again, with hard work and perseverance, we might, one of these days, be able to afford those things. Soon.
